After more than two decades of economic and demographic decline, the city of Detroit is on the upswing. While the resurgence of the historic metropolis, known as the birthplace of the U.S. auto industry, is most certainly welcome, the wealth of new opportunities associated with urban revitalization aren’t always accessible to everyone.
When it comes to economic development, the inclusion of all residents, especially young men and women of color, is essential to the city’s recovery.
In keeping with our mission of economic and social empowerment, Men of Courage is partnering with MBK Detroit, CBMA, the Skillman Foundation, and JPMorgan Chase to connect young men and women of color with opportunities and funding to drive and thrive in Detroit’s new economy.
